Responsibility as a design principle
What levers can designers set in motion to help shape a more sustainable future? Designers with different approaches to sustainable design will share their perspectives, challenges and experiences at this talk.
You can look forward to exciting insights - for example, on what sustainability-driven UX design looks like and how design can drive society's willingness to act ecologically.
We are looking forward to it:
- Thorsten Jonas is a Sustainable UX and Responsible AI Consultant. In 2021, he founded SUX - The Sustainable UX Network to make sustainability the standard in the digital design process. In his presentation, Thorsten will talk about how justice can be achieved in the digital space between user convenience and negative ecological impact.
- Alana Zubritz is a sustainable designer and environmental officer at Stadtreinigung Hamburg. My work focuses on closing the value-action gap and designing regenerative cultures to enable a sustainable way of life. At the Design Talk, Alana will talk about why regenerative design enables sustainable design in the first place.
This event is organised in cooperation with SUX - The Sustainable UX Network as part of the Hamburg Sustainability Week.
