Design with perspective: a critical look at colour

The "Design with Perspective" series offers an open space for designers who critically scrutinise their work and take the social and political dimensions of design seriously. The aim is to build a long-term community that supports each other in diversity-sensitive design practice. The meetings build on each other, but it is possible to join at any time.

The exchange series is hosted by Mawuto Dotou, Antonia Fedder and Anna Unterstab together with the Design Zentrum Hamburg.

Antonia Fedder (she/her)
Antonia is a freelance digital designer and consultant focusing on inclusive UX, accessibility, and sustainable design. In addition to her freelance work, she has taught in the Sustainable Design program at Design School Kolding, among other places. In her work, she combines strategy, design, and education with the goal of making digital spaces more accessible and sustainable.

Anna Unterstab (all pronouns)
Anna Unterstab is an artistic associate specializing in information design at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle. She also works as a freelance exhibition designer in Hamburg and specializes in collaborative, participatory and site-specific working methods.

Mawuto Dotou (they/them)
Mawuto is a freelance and interdisciplinary communication designer. Their work often focuses on projects in the context of intersectional design, social organizations and anti-discrimination projects. Mawuto is the seventh resident of the Stiftung Hamburger Kunstsammlungen at the Museum für Kunst & Gewerbe.

This time, Christoph Hassler (he/him) will also be joining us. He is a diversity consultant and designer with a passion for responsible technology and AI.
